Khane Baghe Irani or Iranian Garden Guesthouse is a traditional house in the middle of a garden and it is 100 years old. The garden area is about 1000 square meters. Khane Baghe Irani is one of the traditional houses in Shiraz and started its work in 2016. It is located in heart of the city on East Moshir Street. The construction of the house dates back to the Pahlavi Dynasty.

History of Khane Baghe Irani

In the early 1930s, Mirza Abulfazl Mahallati –a prominent mullah in Shiraz- built Mahalati’s residence in Moshir Street. The building is in the middle of a large garden. One of Mirza Abulfazl’s sons, Sadreddin, inherited the house. Saddredin was one Shiraz scholars. After Saddredin’s death, her wife, Farangees decided to transform her inherited residence to a charity foundation. After her demise in 2010, they renovated the house to become functional. The renovation was completed under the visionary management of Mr. Hadi Khosravi and Mr. Mehdi Mahallati in 2016. Furthermore, all the residence revenue are dedicated to charity. Ms. Farangees Mahallati always welcomed her guests with a poem:

Rooms In Khane Baghe Irani Guesthouse

The house has two floors. The total number of rooms is 9. There are two double, two twins, two triple, one 4-bedroom, one 5–bedroom, and one 6-bedroom rooms at the 2-star Khane Baghe Irani. Total Iranian Garden Guesthouse capacity is 30 people. Each floor has a toilet outside the rooms.

Remarkably, the garden of Khane Baghe Irani has some pergolas. It has a peaceful green space with old trees. It also has a pond and a greenhouse.
