Heidarzadeh's Museum

Heidarzadeh’s Museum is the only specialized museum of the coin in Iran. There are collections of old coins including gold, silver, copper, and brass coins of nearly 42 historical periods from the Achaemenid Empire to contemporary time.

Heidarzadeh’s Museum is located in Arab Zadeh House in Yazd. This house was constructed in Qajar Era and is in the northeastern part of Fahadan neighborhood.

History of Heidarzadeh’s Museum

Heidarzadeh’s Museum is a personally collected museum. Ostad Hossein Heidar Zadeh, who was a professor and specialist in numismatics, had personally collected the objects of the museum since 1956. The museum was then opened to the public in 2004 and has been widely adored since then.
