1- Tehran Nightlife

As the capital, Tehran is one of the most populated cities in Iran. This metropolitan might be the city of museum during days, but at nights, it offers a wide range of night activities, especially anything related to food! Here are four main destinations that you won't regret visiting at night in Tehran.

Si-e Tir Street, Tehran

This is no ordinary street in Tehran! Si-e Tir Street is one of the most touristic sites in Tehran; some of the best museums in Tehran and Iran like National Museum of Iran, Glassware Museum of Iran, and Malek Museum and Library, and attractions like Portal of Bagh Meli are located in this paving street. But the street is also known for its nightlife and delicious street food!

Just walk in Si-e Tir Street and you will smell a wide range of delicious smells that make you hungry; from traditional Persian Kebab to Turkish and Lebanese food. That's because all across the street you can find food vendor shops selling different types of foods. Also, you will find other vendor shops selling souvenirs and handcrafts.

Tabiat Bridge, Tehran

Tabiat Bridge and its neighbor, Ab-o Atash Park is one of your best choices for taking a walk in Tehran at night. This bridge is built on Modares highway and with its unique design you'll have a spectacular view of the city's sky scratchers like Milad Tower. Also, there are good cafes and restaurants in the area. Can you imagine having an ambrosia Persian meal with this view?

Bam-e Tehran

Another good place to have a gaze at the shimmering lights of the city at night is Bam-e Tehran (means the top of Tehran). This place is located in the northern parts of the city, away from the bustling heart of Tehran, between Velenjak Street and Tochal Tele cabin. In Bam-e Tehran you can grab a cup of coffee or tea and enjoy the scenery in the mountainous atmosphere. Don't forget the various restaurants as well.

Darband, Tehran

Darband is one of the neighborhoods in the north of Tehran. Although this place is famous for its mountain route and hiking during day, you can still have a lovely night drinking tea or smoke hookah here. You will fall in love with its colorful snacks as well! Think about listening to live music and eating delicious Persian dishes, now you know why the atmosphere of Darband is priceless at nights.

2- Isfahan

Apart from nightlife activities like eating out in restaurants to try Isfahan delicious and yet less common cuisines like the combination of sweet and sour tastes, there are other things to try at nights while traveling to Isfahan.

Bridges

Ever been on a historical bridge at night? Isfahan has several historical bridges placed in intervals on Zayandehrood River. Although you might find it difficult to visit all of them at one night, Si-o Se Pol Bridge and Khaju Bridge are suitable choices. The golden lights of these two bridges make them fabulous to see at night, especially their reflation in the water. It takes you approximately 30 minutes to walk between these two bridges. If you are lucky, you might catch a local singer using the echo power of these bridges to sing traditional songs.

3- Mashhad

Mashhad might be the most religious destination in Iran, but it has several other nightlife activities as well. Let's have look at what you can do at nights while you are traveling to Mashhad.

Imam Reza Holy Shrine

This giant complex is open 24/7 all year. Imam Reza Holy Shrine is the largest and most important religious attraction in Iran and Shia world. Even if you are not a Muslim, there are a lot to visit in this place.

Although its museums and libraries are open only during day, you can still enjoy the breath-taking Persian-Islamic structure and decoration of its courtyards and halls at night, when the shrine is much less crowded.

Aqua Parks

You will find the best aqua parks of Iran in Mashhad, Iran. These aqua parks work even at the late hours of nights. You should know that based on Islamic laws, all of these parks are separated for men and women and they are all indoors.

Other Nightlife Tourism Destinations in Iran

You can find similar activities in cities like Shiraz, Karaj, Kish Island, Qeshm Island, and the northern parts of Iran (Gilan and Mazandaran provinces). In weekends and some holidays, such as Nowruz, you might find more nightlife activities in Iran. Some of the religious holidays like Ashura, Tasua, Qadr Nights (during Muharram and Ramadan) are different than other holidays; but you can still observe these ceremonies at nights.
