The 11 day budget tour was absolutely excellent value for money with most aspects of the itinerary exceeding my expectations. The guides were exceptionally well qualified, knowledgeable and experienced with excellent social skills and friendly, warm and sociable personalities.

Hit and miss - while we loved our time in Iran, the tour was disappointing in some regards. Shaqa was a friendly, welcoming and personable guide however she often put her own interests before those of her group (only 4 of us travelling together). Knowledge was lacking in other areas however we supplemented this with our guidebooks. A more detailed itinerary would help matters. Driver, vehicle, hotels all very good.

This tour allows you to see most parts of Iran. The tour was very well organised. I had an excellent driver, who managed to safely navigate Iranian traffic, which was not always easy. My tour guide Elahe was knowledgeable, efficient and professional, but also had that personal touch, which I very much appreciated.

Sahand - our local guide - made the tour absolutely incredible. The itinerary was good and Sahand was happy to be flexible. Some items in the itinerary were scheduled on Friday however Sahand moved these around for us. The hotel in Isfahan was great. Apochi did run the group tour with just two people and so we were very thankful for the - in effect - private tour. Iran is amazing!!

Forget all your preconceptions. Iran has the friendliest people in the world (we were stopped and chatted and took selfies with literally hundreds), the most fascinating historical sites (especially Persepolis, gorgeous palaces and Mosques) beautiful landscapes (Lut desert, mountains) and we felt completely safe.
