What to do in Shushtar?

The huge edifice dates from 1250 BC and has been used for centuries to honor the god Inshushinak. Walk around the ziggurat and just admire it. Located just 44 km out of Shushtar!

How To Get To Shushtar?

By Car

There’s one direct road connection with Shustar on the route (road 39 Andimeshk – Ahvaz). Of course from Tehran you can also get here when you first go down to Ahwaz by road 65 to Shiraz. Change the road from Esfahan to Ahvaz and then go up on road 39 to Shushtar.

By Bus
